Marzo tiene fama de loco.
\nAs\u00ed es. Al estar a caballo entre el rigor invernal y la bonanza primaveral, puede que un a\u00f1o sea m\u00e1s invierno y otro m\u00e1s primavera, afectando a la siembra y al fin de campa\u00f1a de algunas verduras invernales.<\/p>\n

Alcachofa ecol\u00f3gica<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

La alcachofa quiere fr\u00edo, y se mantiene tierna y gustosa. Si llega el calor demasiado pronto,\u00a0se endurece y se forman pelos en el coraz\u00f3n. Otras verduras manifiestan la llegada del calor espig\u00e1ndose, como el br\u00f3coli. Su reloj interno avisa que llega el tiempo de florecer y reproducirse.<\/span><\/p>\n

La fruta en marzo est\u00e1 en sus horas bajas. La manzana y la pera ya hace tiempo que se recolectaron, aunque se conservan bien en silos. Las que mejor est\u00e1n son las naranjas y mandarinas, cuyas variedades tard\u00edas navelate y ortanique son dulces y jugosas. En Ecoalimentaria las traemos directamente del \u00e1rbol, con todo su frescor y sin pasar por c\u00e1maras … \u00a1y se nota!<\/p>\n

Falta al menos un mes para los n\u00edsperos, y m\u00e1s para la cereza, la ciruela, el albaricoque o el melocot\u00f3n. Pero mientras tenemos la fresa del Maresme, deliciosa y que, a nuestro criterio, es uno de los alimentos que siempre deber\u00edamos comer provenientes de agricultura ecol\u00f3gica, pues de lo contrario, al no pelarse, no se pueden eliminar suficientemente los pesticidas.<\/p>\n

Por lo dem\u00e1s, el campo exige ya bastante dedicaci\u00f3n para sembrar directamente o mediante pl\u00e1ntulas (para trasplantar cuando crecen un poco) la mayor parte de hortalizas de verano: tomate, pimiento, berengena, pepino, calabac\u00edn, jud\u00eda verde.
